About the PMO

The Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for overseeing and managing campus-wide information technology projects for the Office of the CIO. The PMO is charged with developing and upgrading systems and processes that affect every member of the UCSB campus community. UCPath - UCPath is the University of California's program to implement a single payroll, benefits, human resources and academic personnel solution for all UC employees. UCPath will replace UC's 35-year old Payroll/Personnel System (PPS) with a single new payroll and HR technology system, standardize and streamline payroll and HR processes system-wide, and centralize certain HR/APO, benefits, and payroll transactional processes within the UCPath shared service center.

U-Mail Migration - Students will soon be joining UCSB’s campus-wide messaging & collaboration service, G Suite for Education. During the summer of 2018, the U-Mail service will transition from Microsoft Office 365 to G Suite for Education.

Connect - Connect is UCSB's new communication and collaboration service. The core communication components include e-mail and calendaring, with more to come as we expand the service offerings. The core components of Connect are based on Google Apps for Work - Education Edition.
