While it has been a year unlike any other, one aspect that has not changed is the pride we take in our ETS accomplishments. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, our team took major strides to advance the goals that define our IT strategy, “Mission-Focused IT.”
I’m happy to announce that the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Annual Report for FY 2019-20 is now available at cio.ucsb.edu/about/annual.reports.
Over the past year, the team focused on several critical initiatives that move our campus IT closer to “Mission-Focused IT,” including enabling remote work and collaboration, maturing the UCSB Campus Cloud, and implementing multi-factor authentication. We even included a COVID-19 impact page that summarizes how we scaled our services to meet increased demand during the pandemic.
ETS takes great pride in contributing to UCSB’s mission of research, teaching, and community service, even and especially during this historic moment. We look forward to serving the campus in the new year!
